Central Valley Ag awards 2025 scholarships to 20 future agricultural leaders

Central Valley Ag (CVA) is proud to announce the recipients of its 2025 scholarship program, awarding $1,000 each to 20 outstanding students who are pursuing higher education in agriculture-related fields. These scholarships reflect CVA's commitment to supporting the next generation of agricultural leaders and strengthening the future of rural communities.
Applicants were challenged to write an essay responding to the prompt: Describe an innovative idea or project that could help an agricultural cooperative improve its services or impact in the community, and how you would implement this idea. The winning essays showcased creative solutions addressing sustainability, technology advancements, and community engagement within agricultural cooperatives.
"We are inspired by the fresh perspectives and passion these students bring to their agricultural industry," said Paige Godbersen, Talent Coordinator at CVA. "Their ideas demonstrate a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities in modern agriculture, reinforcing why it's essential to invest in their education and future success."
