Central Valley Ag and Cloud County Co-op announce sale of Kansas facilities
May 12, 2025
Central Valley Ag (CVA) cooperative and Cloud County Co-op have reached an agreement for the sale of CVA's facilities in Miltonvale and Clyde, Kansas, to Cloud County Co-op.
This transaction builds on the strong relationship between the two cooperatives, which has been cultivated over many years through shared ownership in AgMark LLC, Concordia Terminal LLC and ASI LLC.
The agreement includes the sale of CVA's elevator facility in Miltonvale and the grain storage and bunker facility in Clyde. CVA will retain ownership and continue operation of the Miltonvale fuel site, as well as the NH3 plant in Clyde.
"While we are transferring ownership of these facilities, CVA remains firmly committed to the area and the producers we serve," said Brent Reichmuth, SVP of Operations at Central Valley Ag. "Our significant investments in Narka, The Junction in Linn, Courtland and Clay Center, Kansas, strengthen our ability to serve member-owners across the region. This transition, through our long-standing partnership with Cloud County Co-op, supports a seamless continuation of service and reinforces the cooperative commitment to local producers."
"We welcome this opportunity to further partner with CVA with a shared vision of taking care of the needs of the area producers," said Mark Paul, CEO and President of Cloud County Co-op Elevator Inc., and Concordia Terminal LLC. "We partner with CVA and work toward common interests in AgMark, ASI and Concordia Terminal every day and we will continue to work towards what benefits you, the producer and our companies. We look forward to serving you at any location and will work diligently to earn your trust and business. Thank you to CVA for this opportunity, and to you, the producer, for putting your trust in us."
CVA and Cloud County Co-op are currently working through the closing process, with completion anticipated within the next 60 days.
